GAA mothers and others delivered as part of the North Belfast Festival was a great success.
All teams played a wee round robin 12 min matches then we merged the two North Belfast Teams and the two Antrim and Newtownabbey teams for a wee kick about , which ended in a 25 aside in last two minutes 
The energy was just 1st class.

Small prizes where given out to a player in each team for outstanding effort, for coming out of their shell, for never missing training and for being an outstanding support to others. Ref Mick picked his favourite player from all 4 teams for making him smile every match she played.
Honestly we loved that and will be linking in the clubs for Mental Health Awareness, but 100% Mothers and Others will be part of our programme going forward.
Key lesson from tonight is , host it on a Sunday so the Mothers and Others can go out afterwards we will listen.
