Today we delivered “Capture the Fleg” where we talk Identity and community.
Interesting perspective shared in that no matter what communities we come from the social issues and challenges are all the same.
Some stories of inspiration, also one of sorrow, that shows what a messed up system we have, a good guy we have become very fond off, is two weeks away from getting points for housing because he has been in residence for the dedicated time, he doing well, he making progress, all of a sudden he moved, with zero explanation or duty of care, and surprise, surprise he loses the opportunity for points.
What an absolutely backwards system we have.
Other than that story of sorrow, we have guys making small win meaningful impacts in their lives which installs hope and belief that with right guidance and support and dignity and respect people struggling can do well
