Absolutely amazing Suicide Awareness course from Fresh Minds Education and facilitator Jim Weir.
Such an emotive topic coverd with compassion and style. Huge thanks to Matt from Everglow Health And Wellbeing and Mark St Marys FC for sorting as part of our collaboration in North Belfast Sports and Wellbeing Fourm.
Definitely recommend this course to any club/community group. Its roots are designed here in Northern Ireland and so relevant to the challenges we face.
Working with Mercy College students building up their team work skills and most important having fun at the same time.
Our St. Malachy's College Young Leaders impressing their teachers by delivering our Bully-Run game for Anti-Bullying Week to all Year 8. They delivered to 180 pupils . I’m sure that they now appreciate the hard work teachers
do every day as they were all busted after that.
Feedback from Holy family primary School
Our Primary 6 classes are working with TAMHI over the next few Fridays to learn about looking after their mental health through fun games and activities. Here are some photos of Mrs Morrison’s class enjoying their session last week
Great write up from Holy Cross Girls Primary School
Primary Six took part in another great workshop with Joe from TAMHI today. The focus was on relationships and how by building good relationships the girls can help to protect themselves against things like bullying. As ever, the games brought all the ideas to life, and Joe was very impressed by how insightful the girls were. The girls agree that they are never going to bullying and will never accept anyone else bullying. Such a powerful message in anti-bullying week.
